Since I can't really stay long, I just want to tell this story, which is one of my favourite stories, as for one, it is very short, and for another it makes absolutely no sense at all. Whenever I remember it, or tell anyone about it, I will not hesitate to dissolve into laughter. I'm really really sorry if I freak anyone out in the process.
Anyway, I got this story from a thick book with a whole collection of stories. I cannot remember the title of the book. I cannot remember any other story from that same book. So do not bother to ask me about it. :)
The Man with Two Wives
There was once a man with two wives. He had a young wife, and an old wife, while he himself was of middle age.
Every morning, his young wife would sit behind him, brushing his hair for him, and plucking out any white hair she saw, to make him look as young as her.
Every night, his old wife would sit behind him, brushing his hair for him, and plucking out any black hair she saw on his head, to make him look as old as her.
In the end, the man went bald.
-Giggles madly-
I have no idea why that story does that to me. I just find it insanely funny and very cute at the same time. I think there's supposed to be a moral to that story, and no I don't think it's that the man shouldn't have two wives, the man shouldn't have wives of different ages, and definitely not the man should have just went bald in the first place.
Yeah, so erm. Anyone care to help me think up of a moral?
